It’s in the welcoming shadow of the cathedral, right in the heart of downtown Strasbourg, that Fortwenger is trying out a new concept: a mini artisanal ice cream shop to delight both tourists and locals. And for this first summer edition, the brand is going all out! They’ve teamed up with ALBA, a well-renowned ice cream maker from Haut-Rhin, famous for over 30 years for its natural ice creams and sorbets without any colorings or strange flavors.

Which perfumes are a must-try? The Fortwenger gingerbread ice cream, of course! It's a sweet and nostalgic nod, perfect for fans of that madeleine-de-Proust vibe. But the real surprise is the "Dubai Style": a totally new scent, inspired by the famous Easter rabbit that has taken France by storm. A bit crazy, a little kitsch, but it fully embraces its charm and is truly delightful! And this is just the beginning, because if the trial goes well, Fortwenger might just expand the experience throughout Alsace... or even further!
Many signature scents
Let's remember that Fortwenger never stays put for too long: after acquiring the Cémoi site in Molsheim in 2023 and the création of Fortwenger Chocolaterie, the company continues to diversify with great ambition. All led by Steve Risch, heir to a family saga that began in 1768 in Gertwiller. Today, the company employs 200 people and continues to uphold the tradition.
