While everyone is rushing after summer and the last spots on terraces, Strasbourg hits the pause button. And not just any way: by organizing a festival entirely dedicated to napping. The Siestival is taking place this Sunday, July 20th at Phare Citadelle, like a lovely interlude between two heatwaves and three stress waves. The goal: enjoy a lazy morning… but right in the afternoon, with DJ sets as background music and pillows for ultimate comfort.

Music and chill between naps

Here, no pogo or blasting techno, but a line-up crafted for some serious chill time. Margarita Tempête and Midva will deliver soft sounds in a B2B set, while Xanass, Courant d’Air, François Delamarre, and the solo project Midva (also known as Nils Boyny) will send out vibes softer than a throw blanket on a velvet couch. We recommend arriving by 2 PM to catch the wave.

of sweetness from the very beginning, until 8 PM. And if you feel your eyelid twitching, don't worry: that's all part of the plan here.

As a bonus, there will be a conference on sleep by Hélène Dumont at 5:30 PM, combining napping with science. And because a good sleep deserves a beautiful setting, a gentle and local exhibition will set the scene: illustrations, tufting, sewing, poetry, and photography created by Strasbourg artists who also know how to enchant the eyes.

Bring your mattress, your duvet, or just your good vibes. This Sunday, we switch our brains to airplane mode, our bodies into weightlessness, and finally celebrate the art of doing nothing. Strasbourg, you're making us dream.
