The curtains of the Palais des Congrès opened to reveal the image of a city torn apart by the conflicts between the Montagues and the Capulets. 25 years later, the one that undoubtedly features in the pantheon of our favorite musicals is getting ready for its grand return. Even better, Damien Sargues will reprise his iconic role as Romeo. Even better still, ticket sales open this Friday, March 27!

ctacle (and its main performer) having spent most of their time in Asia since then. And even though we were thrilled to catch a glimpse of the singer in the remake of Notre-Dame de Paris two years ago, nothing could have prepared us for the joy we felt when we heard the news: he's back! Indeed, starting December 3, 2027, the musical Romeo and Juliet: Love Never Dies— whose name has changed slightly, but we accept it — will make its big comeback on French stages, first in Paris and then across France, including at the Zénith in Strasbourg from May 26 to 28, 2028!
A version 2.0... but not tEgypt
For this new tour, we have a reinvented version of the original show waiting for us: new cast, new costumes, new scenery, all "thought out for today without ever touching the show’s DNA." However, a few elements will remain the same: the presence of Damien Sargue and his stage partner, Cécilia Cara, as well as Gérard Presgurvic, the original composer of the musical, who will be returning to the project. Other information and cast members will be revealed bit by bit leading up to the show (in more than a year and a half, so there’s plenty of time). But in the meantime, watch out, ticket sales open this Friday, March 27th at 10 AM! And honestly, we see no better way to declare your love to someone than by getting them tickets…
