Strasbourg was waiting for it, Divercity Festival is delivering! On July 5th, from noon to 10 PM, the Heyritz Park transforms into a true playground of free and vibrant expression. Ten non-stop hours of performances, creations, sharing, and proud self-expression. The lineup includes more than thirty local artists, from drag queens and kings to DJ sets that will make your sneakers fly, live concerts, pole dance, theater, stand-up comedy, and everything that embodies the audacity of diverse identities. All of this under the banner of kindness, openness, and celebration because celebrating who we are is priceless – and has no rules.

Born from the collaboration between the City of Strasbourg and House of Marley Entertainment, Divercity is an open-air artistic and political manifesto. In a context where LGBTQIA+ rights are still trampled in too many places, this first edition proudly declares that Strasbourg is a city of diversity, tolerance, and solidarity. And it also comes through art, humor, music, and creativity.

Animations and performances all day long

Between electrifying live shows and breathtaking drag performances, festival-goers can stroll among twenty stands featuring queer creators, grab a drink, snack, or stop by the association stands to chat, learn, and get informed. And for those who appreciate strong symbols: an exceptional exhibition featuring the Amsterdam Rainbow Dress, worn by Nöxïmä Marley, will be set up at the heart of the event. A dress made from flags of countries where homosexuality is still criminalized. An outfit that speaks louder than words.

Divercity Festival is a heartfelt shout-out in the form of a party, a cheeky nod to norms, and a joyful ode to love in all its forms. In short, it’s the new queer gathering in Strasbourg, and you won’t want to miss it.
