Impossible to pass up: set up in front of the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the festival is a giant food court dedicated to delicious, gooey, and comforting products. Organized by Éphémère Food Festivals Alsace Nord, this event goes all-in on comfort food: oozing raclette, creamy fondue, stretchy aligot, and cheesy tartiflette take center stage. You’ll even spot some delightful nods from afar: Quebec poutine, Italian flatbreads, or cheeseburgers generously topped with local cheese spice up the menu. Let’s just say that a stroll around the stands quickly turns into a delicious scent hunt.
Cheesy desserts that surprise
Cheese doesn’t stop at savory dishes. s : At the Cheese Fest, it also joins the dessert party. Melting cheesecakes, twisted tiramisus, and revamped panna cottas take center stage, proving that sweet treats have their say too. You’ll also have the choice of crêpes, waffles, and cotton candy to balance out all that cheese. And on the drink side, you can swap soda for spiced mulled wine or flavored juice, not to mention a lovely selection of local beers for those wanting to pair hops with crust!
