It was one of the most anticipated openings of the year by fashionistas (minus environmental advocates): the ready-to-wear giant Primark has just opened the doors of a new store of 3,200 m² within the Porte Jeune shopping center in Mulhouse. A total of 12 million euros were invested in this opening and 120 people were employed on a permanent basis, with 81% of them being previously unemployed or first-time job seekers.
3rd Primark store in the Grand-Est region
On the agenda: a huge sales area with 45 fitting rooms and 24 cash registers. A grand opening that brought together 1200 people and that Erhan Akdogan, the store manager, was thrilled about: "Thanks to a significant investment from Primark in this project and collaboration at every stage with regional stakeholders, we are proud to be part of the revitalization of the Porte Jeune shopping center."
