Imagine the foodies already drooling at the title... Yes, you read it right: no more traditional steak and fries, insects are taking over our plates. This pop-up restaurant named "The Gourmet Crickets" and led by a team of young graduates from the Paul Bocuse Institute will open its doors in a still-secret location in Strasbourg for a limited time. The first gourmet restaurant dedicated to insects is here! On the menu: sweet and sour grasshoppers, crispy crickets, stir-fried mealworms, and many other gastronomic curiosities. Yes, the place is presented as gourmet with a know-how never before seen in France and in Strasbourg. The bravest can even try a glass of Muscadet with a grilled grasshopper! A great source of proteins, insects are both ecological and economical, as well as already very popular in other countries. So why not here?The restaurant "Les Criquets Gourmands" aims to offer an original and educational culinary experience by providing a varied and rich menu full of delicious flavors. From there to imagining a sauerkraut with grilled worms, there is only one step that we still hesitate to take... ¡Bon appétit!
