The Editor

From April 23 to May 10, 2026, the Wine Cellar of the Coop will host "Banksy(s)", a groundbreaking exhibition dedicated to the most elusive artist of his generation. 300 original works that trace his journey since the 1990s, collected by curator François Berardino and presented for the first time in this format. The organizing cultural structure estimates around 30,000 visitors are expected. This number gives a glimpse of what this event will mean for the cultural scene in Strasbourg.

Nearly 30,000 visitors expected

Plus, admission is completely free! Every day, without exception, throughout the duration of the exhibition. Visitors who wish to go further can make a donation at the end of their journey; the funds will be donated to several organizations, including SOS Mediterranée. This is a choice that aligns with the values Banksy has upheld since the beginning: political commitment, accessibility, and the rejection of art as a privilege reserved for a few.

Banksy, for those discovering and those who already know

If you've never really dived into the world of Banksy, this exhibition is the perfect entry point. His works speak for themselves: the little girl with the red balloon, the stencil rat, soldiers posing with Mickey and Ronald McDonald, activists throwing bouquets of flowers. Images that have become part of global pop culture while keeping their subversive charge intact. And if you already know, you understand how rare and unique it is to see 300 pieces related to this artist all gathered in one place!
