At the helm, we find Marc Le Bars and Anne-Sophie Mongy, a passionate duo who had the brilliant idea of opening a hot pepper temple. "I've traveled quite a bit, especially in North America, where hot sauces are a true religion!" explains Marc. Inspired by this culture, they decided to import the 'hot sauce' spirit to Brittany. And we can say they didn't hold back!
Over 100 sauces from around the world (and at all levels)
At Maison Piquante, you can find more than a hundred sauces, coming from all over: the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and even a few local gems. From sweet sauces with fruity aromas to demonic elixirs based on Carolina Reaper (the hottest pepper in the world), there's something for every palate and every heat tolerance.
The bravest can try soups rated over a million on the Scoville scale. In other words, it's literally...ment fire in a bottle.

For the curious, the passionate, and the adventurous!
But hold on, Maison Piquante isn't just for the daredevils of flavor. "Our passion is to uncover the richness of flavors behind the spice," says Anne-Sophie. Some sauces are mild and subtle, perfect for pairing with grilled meats, tacos, or roasted vegetables. Others...are completely epic, but always with good taste.
The store also offers tastings, so you can try things out without (too much) suffering, as well as gift boxes to surprise a friend who loves thrilling sensations.
Shall we go?
