A 100% Breton Challenge
In the Gayeulles park, a joyful crowd gathered to witness this culinary feat. 100 meters of galette-saucisse, created in just 1 hour and 40 minutes, with an incredible preparation: 500 pre-cooked sausages boiled before being grilled, 500 galettes with a diameter of 30cm, carefully prepared by an artisan from Pleudihen-sur-Rance, and a team of 20 volunteers dedicated to assembling this gastronomic work of art.
“We are super happy!” shares Baptiste Virot, manager of the café “Au bois du parc.” Mission accomplished for him and his partners from the traveling food truck Breizh Trip, Enzo Huet and Baptiste Meheust, who took on this extraordinary challenge with flying colors.

A moment of celebration and sharing
Even though the achievement was technical, the atmosphere was warm and festive. To the sounds of Breton songs and the cheers from the crowd, the team carried out their moves right in front of eager galette-saucisse fans.
And after the effort, came the reward: a giant tasting allowed everyone to enjoy this emblem of Breton street food.
One thing's for sure, in Brittany, the galette-saucisse is not just a tradition, it's a way of life.
