Organized by Ar Collection Hotels in collaboration with Ferrandi Paris Campus de Rennes, the competition is open to students and enthusiasts. One simple rule: reimagine this classic of French pastry while adding your own creative and personal touch.
A pastry reimagined with creativity
The principle of the contest is simple: each participant must create a traditional Paris-Brest, but with an additional ingredient that reflects their inspiration. The goal? To surprise the jury with a creation that is as elegant as it is delicious, while keeping the essence of this emblematic pastry intact.

An exceptional jury
For this inaugural edition, the competition boasts a prestigious jury, presided over by the triple Michelin-starred chef Christian Le Squer, the godfather of Ar Collection Hotels' restaurants. Who can participate?
The contest is open to culinary students (a school certificate will be required) and passionate amateurs, non-professionals.
To register, each candidate must submit a complete file including: a CV and an ID, a technical sheet describing their recipe, and a statement of intent explaining their...'inspiration behind its creation and photos of the dessert made.

A Delicious Final
At the end of the selections, eight finalists will be invited to present their creations to the jury at the Ferrandi Paris Campus in Rennes on March 20, 2025. The grand winner will receive the title of “Best Paris-Brest” along with surprises from the event partners.
