A route designed for celebration and accessibility
This year again, the event is organized by the association Pulse, which has envisioned a route accessible to everyone, promoting joy and inclusion. Everyone is invited to join the parade, dance, and get swept away by the carnival energy!
The route in detail:
*3 PM - Departure from Thabor Park (meet near the Carré Du Guesclin): heading toward Saint-Melaine Street, then Antrain Street, passing through Motte-Fablet Street and le Bastard Street, having a festive twist through National Street, aiming for the Place du Parlement de Bretagne, Brilhac Street, and Estrées Street.
*4:15 PM - Giant snack break at the Town Hall square.
*4:45 PM - Resume the parade: Estrées Street, Lafayette Street, Toulouse Street.
*6 PM - A beautiful closing at Sainte-Anne Square, after passing through Rallier-du-Baty Street and Saint-Michel Street.
*6:30 PM - End of music and the event.

An electrifying atmosphere with seven music groups!
What would a carnival be without an exhilarating soundtrack? This year, seven music groups are going to set the streets of Rennes on fire, taking the audience on a festive and multicultural musical journey:
*The Drummers of Maracatu: Percussions and dances from Brazil's Northeast
*Takadidoum – Samba and explosive Brazilian rhythms
*AC Balata – Vibrant Caribbean percussion
*Toucouleurs – The energy of Brazil in the streets
*FuUusion Batucada – A storm of Afro-Brazilian rhythms
*K'dance Désil – Dancing vibes guaranteed
*Les Majorennes – A lively and dynamic brass band
Bonus: The incredible giant puppets from the Collectif Rue des Titans will join the parade for an even more magical and immersive celebration!
