Homemade Pirate Ships

At the heart of the event is Récréator, a cheerful bunch of passionate DIY enthusiasts. Their thing? Building (almost) seaworthy boats from reclaimed wood, recycled barrels, and a whole lot of imagination. The result? Completely crazy vessels, often a bit wobbly but always full of charm.
And no, this isn’t an exhibition; these boats really sail. Even better, they face off in wild water jousts where splashes reign supreme.

Jousts, Fun, and Floats

As soon as the crews set sail, it’s a grand spectacle. With paddles raised, battle cries, and unexpected dives, the pirate jousts are both athletic and hilarious. It’s a true delight to watch or comment on from the shore while sipping a refreshing drink.
It’s also a day designed for all ages. Children are amazed, parents are laughing, and everyone leaves with a drenched smile.

A Festive Atmosphere by the Water

On the agenda: music, light snacks, activities, and above all, a relaxed and festive vibe. The Isle of Minoterie transforms, for one day only, into a giant pirate village where everyone is free to come dressed up or just be curious.
Réc Creator came to life thanks to a group of friends passionate about crafting and rivers. Since then, they’ve been keeping the pirate spirit alive DIY style at every edition. Authentic,

éco-friendly, fun, and creative, everything we love.

So, ready to jump into the adventure? Whether you're a freshwater sailor or a true pirate at heart, come discover the wildest nautical event of the summer. And watch out, it might get a little wet!
