Triskele: Sicily in the Heart of the City

On the side of Saint-Germain Square, the colorful and delicious soul of Sicily invites itself to the table, or rather into takeout boxes. At Triskele, the iconic specialties of Italian street food are presented in a simple, accessible, and wonderfully friendly format. On the menu: the must-try arancini, those crispy rice balls filled with goodness on the outside and meltingly tender on the inside, as well as the delightful and generous pizza fritta. All of this in a relaxed atmosphere where every bite brings the taste of vacations under the sun.

Carbò: a culinary lab for pasta lovers

Just a few steps away, on rue Saint-Georges, Carbò takes a different turn. At the helm is Chef Gabriele Muti, who has honed his skills in prestigious kitchens from Sydney to New York and landed in Paris before settling in Rennes. Here, he reinvents the classics by working with fresh pasta and focaccia, turning his little lab into a genuine playground of gastronomic experimentation. The approach is more contemporary, almost creative, yet always true to its Italian roots.

Two worlds, one shared desire

Even though Triskele and Carbò come from different island origins—Sicily for one and the island of Elba for the other—their creators share a common vision: to celebrate their culinary culture and pass on the love for good products. Both focus on takeout, allowing you to enjoy Italy on the go, whether on the street, at the office, or at home.

With the enticing aroma of olive oil, the crispness of focaccia, and the generous portions of arancini, it's safe to say that these spots will quickly become must-visit places for lovers of Italian cuisine. You’ll have to let us know how it goes!
