A Salt Cocoon to Breathe and Relax
No, this isn’t an illusion or a spa in Bali. It’s right in a municipal pool in Pacé where you can now enjoy the benefits of salt! Nestled in the balneotherapy space, the salt cave is a room heated to 35°C, featuring walls made of pink Himalayan salt, illuminated to create a vibe that's as zen as it is Instagrammable.
But it's not just pretty; this salt releases negative ions known to purify the airways, relax the nervous system, and provide a genuine bubble of calm. This is what we call halotherapy, a natural relaxation technique that's still quite rare in public pools.
Read, breathe, relax!
According to Arnaud Cadis, the director of the pool, all it takes is about twenty minutes to feel the positive effects. “The ideal is to settle in with a book, or just breathe calmly.” In short, it’s a perfect decompression space after a swim or a few laps.
The room can accommodate up to ten people at the same time, and complements an already well-equipped wellness offering, with massage jets, hammam, sauna, and relaxation pool.
