In 2025, Reims travels back in time to the roaring twenties with a fun-filled program of visits, exhibitions, and special screenings. Get ready for wonderful surprises: mark your calendars!
Masterpieces around every corner
As you stroll through the streets of Reims, you're bound to stumble upon these architectural gems with their sculpted façades, vibrant mosaics, and iconic geometric patterns.
Here are a few examples of famous (and less famous) Art Deco façades in the city?
The former façade of the Opéra de Reims, now listed as a heritage site, the Carnegie library with its stunning stained glass, the Talleyrand swimming pool (a nod to the baths of the 1920s), the mosaic-laden façade of the Le Clos bar at Boulingrin, and of course Le Cellier Mumm with its graphic murals.

A Year in the Spirit of the Roaring Twenties
Guided tours, immersive exhibitions, and special screenings are lighting up the city this year with a nod to Art Deco. Among the highlights is an exhibition tracing the history of the centenary of the Maison Commune du Chemin Vert, special events during Heritage Days, a celebration for the 100th anniversary of Blot school, and a signature dish by chef Philippe Mille featured on the menu at his restaurant Arbane. In short, it’s an epic year!
Art Deco Goes Street Art
This April, Reims launches "Art Deco 1925 - Urban Art 2025", a journey around a reimagined Art Deco heritage. A 2-km walk reveals 9 artworks created by international artists: Levalet, the Spanish duo Reskate, Madame, and Ememem.
The highlight of the show? A stunning 50 m² mural created on Rue de l'Université by artist Nadège Dauvergne, a graduate of the Beaux-Arts in Reims. And the people of Reims have voted!
for the work that will be reproduced: "Flight of Wild Ducks and Peahen" (1925) by Clément Mère, a piece from the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts.See this post on Instagram
