A hypnotic journey

Soft lights, solemn silence in the nave... Suddenly, a voice echoes: the spirit guardian of the place. And off we go on a journey through time, weaving together legends, sacred architecture, and moments of grace. For 40 minutes, the basilica transforms into a living stage, with mesmerizing mapping, enchanting music, and storytelling reminiscent of a tale from the Thousand and One Nights... Medieval style.

The legend of Saint Remi through the centuries

Much like a theater play, the show Luminiscence unfolds its story in several acts. What’s the scoop? The fascinating history of the Saint Remi basilica, from its beginnings as a simple austere chapel outside the walls to becoming a majestic Gothic abbey. The experience continues with a spectacular play of lights, revealing impressive stained glass, royal coronations, and the legend of Saint Remi (a.k.a. the 15th bishop of Reims).

360° show and 3D sound

The setup is c...anon : a 360° stage design and amplified sound. Time fades away, centuries link together, and the emotion rises. At one moment, it’s like an entire millennium of songs caresses our eardrums. And just when you think you've seen it all, the basilica rises from its ashes after 14-18, even more beautiful, even more vibrant. A captivating mix of history, art, and thrills, served on a platter of light.

A live choir : guaranteed chills !

And to take grandiosity even further : every Friday and Saturday night, a live choir will join the show with about twenty singers… It couldn’t be more poetic! Powered by cutting-edge spatial sound technology, the music travels through the building, creating a sound immersion that’s simply breathtaking.
