A decade after the inscription, we’re popping the champagne and toasting to this recognition that shines a light on our region all around the world! And to celebrate it properly, the Champagne territory has whipped up a fantastic list of events that you definitely won’t want to miss this year. Shall we toast?

A Classified Terroir, a Tremendous Pride for Champagne

Those in the know understand: champagne in Champagne is so much more than just sparkling wine. It’s a craft, a tradition, a way of living the French way. In 2015, UNESCO acknowledged this richness by inscribing the wine hills, mysterious cellars, and legendary houses of the Champagne terroir on the World Heritage List. Beyond just champagne, the entire region proudly celebrates being recognized as an exceptional territory.

A survey has even been launched to assess the impacts brought to the area over the last 10 years. Residents, elected officials, and professionals from the Champagne tourism and/or wine sectors: it's your turn to shine!!

A 2025 that pops!

To celebrate its decade of prestige, Reims and its surroundings have an exciting program lined up that will make your calendar sparkle:

🏰 A must-visit spot: The Château Perrier, home to the Champagne Museum in Épernay.

A birthday that can also be enjoyed as dessert

As the patron of the festivities, the eminent triple Michelin-starred chef Arnaud Lallement from L’Assiette Champenoise has come up with the delicious idea of the year. The concept? To create a signature dessert inspired by the four seasons of the vine. All the chefs in the region are invited to participate in the "Chefs! 4 Seasons to celebrate 10 years."

In spring, strawberries will take the spotlight, then the warmth of summer will welcome yellow fruits. In autumn, ...We'll go crazy for the hazelnuts. A true sensory experience!

While waiting for the tastings, cheers? 🥂
