Pharrell Williams, creative director of the men's collections for Louis Vuitton and a champagne lover, has designed the packaging for bottles from the famous house of Moët & Chandon for a special limited edition. Set to launch in March 2025, the collection features three bottles that are just a little pricier than the entry-level options. A bit of accessible luxury: we say yes!
The Pharrell Williams Edition: Back to Basics
To create this exclusive cuvée, the designer dove into the archives of Moët & Chandon. And there was plenty to explore since the house, founded in 1743, is filled with history and ancient know-how. He specifically decided to revive a symbol used on bottles from the late 19th century: the ribbon. He envisions it as bold and adorned with pearls. The typography used, made up of tiny white dots, beautifully decorates the bottle and acts like a piece of jewelry.
Pharrell X Moët, a truly free-spirited way of life
Trendy (and very Parisian)
The super sleek communication surrounding the event launch of this collaboration paints a dreamy and festive picture of Paris. The pitch? Pharrell Williams and other guests head to a birthday bash right in the heart of Paris, where, of course, champagne is at the center of the celebration. A “bit cliché” advertisement for us, the French, but it works like a charm internationally. And maybe that’s the essence of big luxury: rolling up to a Parisian soirée on a skateboard with a bottle of Moët and a baguette sticking out of your bag.
In the meantime, let’s not forget that Moët & Chandon is a historic champagne house from the city of Épernay. And for us, champagne is our pride! It's all the time, occasion or not ! Pharrell Williams seems like he’s made to live with us ! We’re officially sending him an invitation !
