BoBoat, what is it? A boat rental service with electric boats that don’t require a license (yes, yes, anyone can be a captain for a day!).
Launched in spring 2023 by locals from Reims, this project allows you to discover the city in a different way and highlights the Vesle canal that flows through it. Here, you don't need to be an expert sailor; navigation is accessible to everyone. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a moment of relaxation and see the city of coronations from a whole new perspective.
An eco-friendly approach
BoBoat is part of a gentle mobility initiative thanks to its 100% electric and environmentally friendly propulsion. The goal? To meet environmental standards that advocate for zero emissions, following the low-carbon strategy led by Grand Reims.
Admire the Cathedral from a new angle from your boat, or take in the Grand Mills of Reims that line Bréban Avenue. It’s a great way to play tourist in your own city!

Beautiful Boats Galore
With super stylish details, some boats have been decorated by local artists: Iemza, Wone, Elbi, and Christine Sejean! And these artworks are not chosen randomly because some of the paintings resonate with the journey. Indeed, many bridges spanning the canal house street art works. You can therefore choose a uniquely designed boat and capture your best Instagram photos!
As for the price, expect to pay between €40 and €84 depending on the size of the boat (from 5 to 7 seats) and the duration of your ride. It's more economical than a restaurant, and believe us, your crush will remember this for a long time!
