Graphic market, workshops, tattoo corner, live painting, conferences, karaoke night, and DJ set: Gabari Festival is a burst of art and celebration, running for 3 non-stop days. A perfect way to end summer beautifully in Reims!

Little Gabari, but big creativity!

Making visual arts accessible and visible in the community is the main motto of the Gabari Festival, which started in 2021 after the release of a fanzine on graphic arts. And indeed, a festival entirely dedicated to visual artistic universes didn’t exist in Reims before...

What inspired this project? The QuaranteSix, a collaborative and creative space located at 46 Rue de Talleyrand in Reims. Visual artists, web developers, tattoo artists, communicators, and videographers from the collective join forces to organize the festival.

Three days dedicated to visual and graphic arts

Exhibitions, live painting, workshops...

Participatory fairs and graphic markets : everything is gathered to dazzle your eyes. Colorful art and performances await you !

The Gabari Festival also offers interactive workshops led by artists from all over the world, as well as inspiring talks on new artistic practices. Are you a tattoo fan? Capture the moment at the tattoo corner with a one-of-a-kind flash created just for the festival !

Iconic spots in the city

The event takes place in several iconic cultural venues in Reims. At the heart of the festival is the national stage of the Manège, with its hall, circus, and indoor spaces. The Falala Media Library, Carnegie Library, and the Treasure at the foot of the Cathedral also host the event for some incredible talks and ephemeral exhibitions.

Brushes by day, karaoke and dancefloor by night!

The Gabari Festival isn’t just about illustrations. When the night falls, and the brushes, booths, and easels are put away, artists and festival-goers get ready to let loose on the dance floor with DJ sets, or sometimes even… grab the mic for a fiery karaoke session!

With meet and greets with artists, live performances, concerts, and graphic creations, the Gabari Festival is truly the place to be in Reims in early September!

The event is back from September 4 to 7 for its 4th edition. Stay tuned…
