20 years of (awesome) star performances
On February 25, 2005, Mr. RZA, leader of the Wu-Tang Clan, came to inaugurate the venue. How classy! Since then, Justice, Vanessa Paradis, Cassius, DJ Premier, Angèle, Metronomy, Black Eyed Peas, Cat Power, Vald, Damso (just to name a tiny fraction) have graced the stage of La Cartonnerie, La Magnifique Society, or Elektricity. Instead of looking back, La Carto is moving forward with exciting anniversary plans that are bound to leave a lasting impression.
A manifesto for culture and freedom
In its anniversary statement, La Carto proudly advocates for our freedom to enjoy concerts during a time when spirits are low. “Culture is a remedy, a gentle yet powerful weapon. Here in Reims, (…) we bet that music can change everything.”

After a fantastic pre-party that really warmed up the room last February, La Cartonnerie is planning a four-day program of huge parties and surprises this September :
Thursday 18/09 & Friday 19/09 : exhibition opening "artist portraits" and concerts.
Saturday 20/09 & Sunday 21/09 : exclusive tours, concerts, Folie Douce XXL, and surprises galore ! The cherry on top ? A big feast is planned to extend the celebration : La Cartonnerie will transform into an outdoor restaurant.
