During our 2-day stay in Glasgow, Scotland, we were excited to step into the enchanting and vibrant world of Willy Wonka. Unfortunately, the event quickly turned into a nightmare, leaving many of the young attendees in tears.

Who has never dreamed, in front of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (whether it's the 1971 version or the 2005 version), or more recently in front of Wonka, to dive into the "world of pure imagination" of the mad chocolatier? However, it seems that those who tested the experience this weekend came out quite traumatised. via GIPHY


Gluttony is a sinful pleasure

This was a failed experience from A to Z. While many families were flocking to Glasgow on the 24th and 25th of February, with images in their minds and hearts full of glitter, what they discovered was an absolute disaster. It was more of a nightmare than a dream. A half empty warehouse, with ultra cheap plastic decorations, and actors with makeup straight out of a horror movie.Well, that's what visitors got, for the modest sum of... 35 pounds per person (a little over 40 euros). Weekend that ends early And the worst part is that the few brave visitors, lured in by misleading IA-generated images, barely got a small piece of chocolate to console themselves. And a few poor glasses of.Industrial lemonade was distributed, just to enjoy this semi-treat. Some even ended up calling the police, and we understand them. The organizers defend themselves by saying they were abandoned by many providers at the last minute, but hey, we can't blame them for fleeing at the sight of this fiasco. The event ended up being closed quickly, with promises of refunds flying in all directions. We leave you with some images of this gem, but we warn you, it might give you a few chills.Yay!
