Last Monday evening, February 3rd, live on C8, Cyril Hanouna shared the big news: he will indeed be Donald Trump's guest in a few days, alongside Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, and Elon Musk, among others. In total, there will be 40 American billionaires gathered around the 47th president of the United States. The host, for his part, will be tasked with giving a speech on freedom of expression.
A Dinner at the Gates of Hell
Last January, Cyril Hanouna announced that he had been invited to a prestigious dinner at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club on February 18th. And while the date of this event has been postponed by a few days, the host's presence is indeed confirmed!
to be confirmed for February 22, 2025.

“Baba” on speakerphone, everyone in the audience and viewers got to join in on this somewhat whimsical exchange: « The Trump team wants to invite you […] There will be a private dinner where Trump is receiving only 40 American billionaires. And you will be at this dinner. You will certainly have to speak about freedom of expression. There will be Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Zuckerberg. You need to share a bit about your vision. We're counting on you. »
An invitation under high security
Shortly after, the H2O teams, the production company in charge of Touche pas à mon poste, confirmed this invitation. According to his close collaborators, being invited,

One thing is for sure, the host has taken a giant leap towards the American President. Just to remind you, back in 2016, he had cleared the set of his show to protest against his first election. Less than 10 years later, here he is as excited as a child on Christmas Eve at the thought of attending this dinner that promises to be absolutely scandalous, both in terms of the cast and the fact that Cyril Hanouna is becoming the spokesperson for France and for freedom of expression.
