After the flurry of world records set this summer at the Paris Olympics, the capital is gearing up for a different kind of feat as the holidays approach. On Saturday, December 21, the Observatoire Paris Montparnasse is calling all the Santa Clauses and Mrs. Clauses of the shadows to gather at the top of the famous tower, located at a height of 210 meters, to break the " world record for the highest gathering of Santa Clauses and Mrs. Clauses ."

Competing with the States
How on earth did such a quirky idea come to the minds of the organizers? They didn’t pull it out of a hat, but rather drew inspiration from the SantaCon in New York. This convention plans the **largest gathering of Santa Clauses in the world** every year to “spread absurd joy,” and they’ll be doing it again on December 21st after bringing together **30,000 people** in 2023. So, the Observatory kindly borrowed the day and the concept, but in a very stylish location that really stands out.

The best part about all this? Absolutely everyone can join in on the fun! To participate, just don your Father or Mother Christmas outfit - think costume, red hat, white beard (or not), leather boots, elf shoe covers - get creative! - and head over to Montparnasse.
For this special occasion, access to the Observatory will be free from 12 PM to 3 PM for those who show up in their best Christmas disguise.
