Often, when we think of a photo booth, we picture a slightly gloomy subway station, where you find yourself sitting on a wobbly stool, trying to have a nice expression even without smiling so you don't look like a psychopath on the new ID card you'll carry around for 10 years. It's an exercise where you end up failing 9 times out of 10. But here, we're inviting you to discover a different kind of photobooth, way more stylish.

Selfie Culture

To discover this absolutely crazy place, head to rue Sainte-Anne in the 2nd, where you’ll meet at Aura Film. It's a totally wild space, a photo studio 2.0, designed with just one goal: to help you capture your best photos to delight your Insta community, g.Overall, it's a concept that we’re not quite sure we can fully embrace, to be completely honest. But we must give them this: the quality is definitely there. No detail in the decor is left to chance, whether it’s in the themed rooms or in the hallways, which have been transformed into a real selfie waiting area. And even though it’s still a beautiful tribute to the culture of emptiness, we must say that the journey into the heart of Korean kawaii culture is quite successful.

Say « cheeeeeeese »

If you decide to give it a try, you'll get to enjoy one of the 8 rooms with diverse themes for your big moment. Class photos, subway, laundry, cozy corners in red or lavender, or even a classroom or an office: pick your space, choose your accessories from the dozens available, and let your imagination run wild in front of the camera. Once the little bird has flown, you can customize the shots, then the photos are printed and protected with filters, so you can take them home with peace of mind. Phew.
