The Editor

After the Ousmane Boulevard for the 2025 victory, the duo of artists behind this initiative takes the tribute even further by renaming 14 streets after the players of the 2026 team and their coach. Thanks to this, the excitement of the supporters will linger a bit longer in the streets of Paris before blending with the hope of victory for the World Cup, just a few weeks away.

A passionate initiative

The project called "Streets of Victory" is brought to life by French artists Loïc Andria and Benoît Metivier, along with the production collective The True Frame, who are also inspired by the victory of the Parisian team. These posters capture all the styles of Parisian street name plaques by changing the names and adding the player's full name underneath, along with the note: "craftsmen of the first French back-to-back".

Here are the streets involved:

    • Saint-Marc Street (2nd) : Saint-Marqui Street
      • nhos (Marquinhos)
      • Rue Vieille-du-Temple (3e) : rue Matveï-du-Temple (Matvey Safonov)

The RATP is getting in on the fun too!

But that's not the only tribute of its kind. The RATP network has also shown its excitement by renaming three metro stations for the occasion. The Porte-de-Saint-Cloud station has become “Paris is magical”, Europe is now “Champions of Europe”, and the rue du Bac station has been transformed into the “Rue du Back to Back” station.
