Dog lovers, and dachshund enthusiasts in particular: your moment is coming (very) soon! For the lucky owners of a wiener dog or simple admirers (let's face it, they're absolutely adorable), your annual dose of joy is making its return. I'm talking about the Paris Sausage Walk, now a tradition in the capital, which is treating itself to a 7th edition that's nothing short of mythical, right there on the Champs-Élysées.
A swarm of dachshunds on the world's most beautiful avenue
What? A walk with tons of dachshunds to cuddle on the most beautiful avenue in the world? Where do we sign up? After the undeniable success of its six previous editions along the Seine's quays (which brought together more than 1,000 pups each time), this concept straight from our friends across the Channel returns on Sunday, October 4th in a brand new, most prestigious setting: on the Champs-Élysées

A brand new setting that doesn't quite change the essence of the walk. As always, to join in on this adorable Sunday stroll, there's just one condition to meet: having one of these little sausages on legs as your furry companion. And if that's not your case, but you haveEven if you're not passionate about these funny little creatures, you're still welcome to come and admire them frolicking along the avenue.
A solidarity and charitable march
Just like in Paris, we love combining business with pleasure – especially since this year, the march falls on the same day as World Animal Day – and the great news is that in addition to being the perfect excuse to play like a kid with a bunch of dogs for two hours, this march is also (and especially) a solidarity initiative. Behind its fun appearance lies a noble cause: raising donations for the Teckels Sans Doux Foyer association. To do this, all kinds of goodies will be on sale during the event. And while we wait for October 4th, we're getting a dose of cuteness on the march's Instagram account to get us in the mood (dachshund mood, that is).
