Dog lovers, and dachshund enthusiasts in particular: your moment has arrived! For the lucky owners of a wiener dog or simple admirers (they really are absolutely adorable), your annual dose of joy is back. I present to you the Paris Sausage Walk, now a tradition in the capital, which is treating itself to a 7th edition that's nothing short of mythical, taking place on the Champs-Élysées.

What? A walk with loads of dachshunds to cuddle on the world's most beautiful avenue? Where do we sign up please? A new setting that doesn't change the essence of the walk, though. As always, to join this adorable Sunday stroll, there's only one requirement to meet: having one of these little four-legged sausages as your life companion. And if that's not your case, but you have...don't have a passion for these funny little creatures, no worries, you're still welcome to come and admire them frolicking along the avenue over the 1.4 kilometer route.
A charitable solidarity march
Just like in Paris, we love to combine business with pleasure (especially since this year, the march happens to fall on the same day as World Animal Day), and beyond being the perfect excuse to play like a kid with a bunch of dogs for two hours, this march is also (and especially) a solidarity initiative. Behind its fun exterior lies a noble cause: raising donations for the Teckels Sans Doux Foyer association. For this, all kinds of goodies will be on sale at the event, as well as a solidarity kit featuring a tote bag, poster, badge, and ribbon. And while we wait for this Sunday, we're filling up on cuteness over on the march's Instagram account, just to get into the (dachshund) spirit.
