Ask any Parisian, and they'll tell you that tourists, in Paris, it's a bit of a nightmare. There's just so many more people on the sidewalks, in the museums, or even worse, on public transport. As if we aren't already packed enough squeezing in every morning to get to work. Luckily, it seems that IDFM and RATP have found the solution to make lasting changes, with the creation of a brand new line, entirely dedicated to those sometimes a bit unruly travelers.
All of Paris in one line
Great news for tourists, those lengthy changes that made no sense to you, will soon be a thing of the past. Indeed, within a few years, a brand new line is expected to open in the capital's subway tunnels.
making life easier for everyone who wants to make the most of their time to fit in 18 visits in a single day. A brand new loop that will serve all the legendary places in the capital.

Panthéon, Invalides, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Concorde, Louvre, Opéra, Montmartre, Notre-Dame, and Bastille—in total, there will be 10 stations accessible on this new line, aptly named “Line 0”. This is because its shape will resemble a perfect oval, and also because, clearly, the other numbers are reserved for the "everyday" lines. The line will be a continuous loop running in both directions and will operate at the same hours as traditional metros.
A Special Access
However, to ride on one of these brand new trains, we want to give you a heads up that the Pass Navigo won’t be enough. The line, which will be a future dark orange color, will have its own transport ticket, costing €20 for a day.
e (we're talking about the RATP after all…) and will cleverly be named the « Paris Go ». Should we see this as an attempt to mock tourists who long to blend in with the crowd, or to poke fun at Parisians who sometimes tend to think they are superior to others? The mystery remains unsolved.Métro Montparnasse.

Sortie de gare.
Un métro vétuste qui n'est pas adapté à la politique de circulation de la mairie de Paris.

And if the implementation of this new line shouldn't require too much work, since the different transportation companies plan to reuse existing tracks, there will still be logistical questions to coordinate the various carriages and avoid collisions that will need a bit of thoughtful reflection before the project kicks off.
P.S.: Before wrapping up, have you checked the date today? Always keep a hint of suspicion... because, as tradition goes, April 1st is often synonymous with mischief, and at Le Bonbon, we love a good joke. Don't be too disappointed, our pranks have sometimes ended up coming true in the past... You never know!
