As Anne Hidalgo officially announced her swim in the Seine on June 23, some internet users are calling for sabotage and to relieve themselves in the river on the same day.

Interviewed last March by Reuters, Anne Hidalgo has affirmed her desire to swim in the Seine before the two events that will take place in the river during the Summer Olympics. The mayor of Paris, particularly enthusiastic, even mentioned a date: mark your calendars for June 23. After commenting extensively on Anne Hidalgo's upcoming dive into the Seine, X users (formerly Twitter) ventured into more unusual jokes. The message is clear, this is indeed a call to d…efequer in the Seine on the day of the famous big splash and thus sabotage the Mayor's dip session.
