The Editor

Well, just so you know, this is not recent news. The last time the Seine froze -- and by that, we mean a thick layer of ice, not just a measly half-centimeter that breaks when a snowflake lands on it -- was in 1956! That's a time that no one here has experienced, but thanks to the INA (National Audiovisual Institute), we can rediscover it through a pretty impressive little video. And honestly, we're almost a little jealous because we would have loved to show off our best ice skating moves on the Seine! Can you imagine? It could have been the biggest ice rink in France! So, without further ado, here's the video:

This is inspiring

After seeing these few photos, it must be acknowledged that it's really beautiful, and we understand why some artists have decided to transcribe all of this into painting.
