Just one more week until we get to experience the scariest night of the year, a.k.a Halloween. Some people see it as a chance to party in the streets of Paris, while others indulge their gory cravings… But one thing is for sure: a ton of terrifying events are rolling into the capital for October 31st. Not a fan of hemoglobin or other Halloween spooky stuff? This softer (and oh-so-adorable) event might just warm your heart – and your furry friend's too!

The canine safe place in Paris

At Le Bone Appart, the first 100% dog-friendly café in Paris nestled in Le Marais, all dogs are very welcome at any time of the day for a puppuccino, a treat, or a little snack.

;Dog shopping! Behind the address, you'll find the American and Parisian by choice Rebecca Anhalt, the lady of the house and her little whippet Napoleon (got the pun yet?). Her goal: to create a community and a living space for our Parisian dogs and their humans. Just a few steps from Place des Vosges, this dog lover has set up her canine safe place, which this weekend is transforming into a true “costume party.”

A Totally Woof-tastic Costume Contest

Since Rebecca is, after all, an American at heart, it was only natural to celebrate Halloween in her doggy haven. The owner of the place invites all the pups from the capital (along with their humans, of course) this Sunday, October 26th, from 3 PM to 5 PM, for a special dog costume contest. Each little furball can come dressed up and will even get a free pup cup as a bonus. And because this little party is still a contest, Rebecca is giving out surprise prizes for the best-dressed pup, the best matching costume for pup and human, and even the best dog-human duo. So, are you ready for a woof-tastic Halloween?
