If some consider the mullet as a huge "redneck" haircut, neither very flattering nor very refined, for others, it is a real religion, a way of life, which, we must admit, has a certain appeal. And especially with more and more followers, as evidenced this weekend by the 5th edition of the European mullet festival, which brought together more participants than ever before.

« From the gaze of others, you shall care not »

What started for many as a simple night of fun with friends quickly turned into a way of life. Because the mullet, more than just an intricately crafted haircut, and easily recognizable among thousands, is a philosophy that advocates for freedom and self-acceptance, without worrying about what others think. Because, yes, a mullet is something to own, and even more, to proudly claim. But always with a lot of lightness and self-deprecation, of course!

And for good reason, the mullet is a haircut that defies norms. Embraced by all, since ancient times, it suits both David Bowie and other unconventional souls who dare to be different. At the rugby, both young and old can participate. This weekend, there were no age limits, gender restrictions, social classes, or anything of the sort. Everyone was welcome to show off their cropped ears, their mane falling on their neck, or even their little rat tail, for the bravest. All in the aim of winning one of the prizes.Come and join in on the fun of this European championship, of course. 🏆🎉

Rewards for Everyone

Once again, no one is left out in the Mullet festival, as there are a wide variety of awards: child, budding mullet (short), senior, family mullet, couple mullet, white-collar mullet and last but not least, rat tail. Some of these prizes are a true honor for participants, as the regular maintenance of their mullet throughout the year is done with the ultimate goal of stepping onto the podium at this unmissable event.

Another highlight of the weekend was when f

Estival-goers attempted to break the world record for the longest mullet chain. A truly innovative concept of a mullet caterpillar... where everyone holds onto each other by their mullets! And since the previous record was not achieved, it was up to the crowd to give it their all! Enjoy the read and see you in the next translation!

With 14 participants (those who made the event presentation video), we can say that the result is largely achieved thanks to the 241 wacky individuals who got caught up in the fun. A very beautiful moment, which we hope will happen again next year!

Imagine the most joyful Instagram post you've ever seen, with a colorful background and a cute border. There's a photo with a lovely caption, surrounded by all sorts of cute designs. It feels like a burst of happiness and creativity in a square box. Enjoy the visual treat! 🌟 #happyvibesCheck out this post on Instagram: A post shared by Mullet Festival (@festivaldelacoupemulet)
