For us Parisians, stress, fast walking, and pollution are the norm. But in Amiens, it's time to learn to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. A little further from the iconic Saint-Leu district, you'll find some heavenly spots like the famous hortillonnages: 300 hectares of floating gardens surrounded by canals, all dedicated to growing fruits and vegetables.

The paths of the Somme will treat you to stunning landscapes as you stroll along the stream, walk on wooden walkways above the water, and reach the top of the belvedere for a breathtaking view. Otherwise,

For those who aren't big on hiking, you can still explore the canals in a rowboat or an electric boat to see these beautiful landscapes from a different perspective.
