Headed to Italy and Slovakia

As you may have guessed, it's the Irish airline Ryanair that will be landing at Paris-Orly starting on April 1, 2025. Thanks to this, it will be possible to travel to Italy and Slovakia as the cities of Bergamo and Bratislava will be served, as confirmed by the Association for the Coordination of Air Schedules (Cohor) to AFP on Sunday, December 1. Two daily round trips will be operated from Paris to both cities. Initially, the airline had planned around ten European destinations.

Two airlines for the price of one

A total of about 8112 slots have been allocated or reallocated by the Cohor. And Ryanair isn't the only airline making its debut at Orly next year. Volotea will also be starting its first flights there, as it has been granted permission to operate 13 flights per week. For now, Italy is the only European destination that will be served, with flights to Ancône, Olbia, Alghero, Turin, and Verona.

At the same time, several established companies at Orly are enhancing their offerings. Transavia France will introduce a daily connection to Amsterdam, while EasyJet will expand its network with flights to Skopje, Sofia, and Southampton. Wizz Air will also step in with a bi-weekly rotation to London-Gatwick, and Vueling will add Salerno to its Italian destinations. Air Corsica will broaden its program for Figari, and ASL Airlines will now operate a daily flight to Alger. Lastly, for long-haul flights, French Bee will connect to Montreal five times a week, which is the only new addition in this category.
