The number of seats is increasing on many trains
By offering tickets that can be booked six months in advance, SNCF is following in the footsteps of Ouigo and Trenitalia, which already had a similar option. Another exciting news is that the number of seats heading to several major French cities will be increased for the summer of 2026. This specifically includes trains going to Marseille and Nice, the Alps, Annecy, Strasbourg — only on weekends — as well as La Rochelle, Quimper, and Perpignan.
