To fully immerse yourself in the local culture, off to the cooking workshop with the chef! It's all about mastering the art of spices, Maldivian coconut, garudhiya (a typical fish broth), mas huni (smoked tuna with coconut), and delicious local curries.

And the cherry on top: we experience total disconnection when we're left on a sandbank in the middle of the ocean for an entire afternoon, with only a picnic basket, lounge chairs, and colorful fish swimming around us. Both thrilling and magical!

Good to know: the stay also includes an all-inclusive package available 24/7, offering unlimited access to drinks, snacks, and activities, so you can fully enjoy every moment of relaxation.

Second stop, more festive!

The Sun Siyam Olhuveli, located in the South Malé Atoll, has long been loved for its family-friendly atmosphere.

and warm-hearted. It's one of the historic resorts in the Maldives, renowned for its many water activities and lively atmosphere that delights families as well as couples seeking relaxation.

A festive arrival!

After the serene elegance of Iru Veli, Sun Siyam Olhuveli has won us over with its more festive atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the sunset cocktail at Dhoni Bar Beach set the joyful tone for our stay.

Marine adventures and culinary discoveries

The next day, we set off for..."Adventure with a private snorkeling excursion to discover ever more colorful fish around a shipwreck. We also explore Manta Point, where every evening, majestic manta rays gather near the hotel pier for a plankton feast."

After a chill lunch at The Bite, a fun cooking workshop on the beach reveals the secrets of local specialties, like hedhikaa (traditional Maldivian snacks) and the famous fish curry with coconut milk. The magical getaway ends with a lively concert at the Lagoon Bar, where you are immersed in the local culture.

The longest pool in the Maldives

Sun Siyam Olhuveli has recently unveiled 40 luxurious Grand Beach Suites with private pools on Dream Island. These 101 m² suites offer an idyllic tropical decor. Another major highlight is that the resort now features the longest pool in the Maldives, stretching 210 meters, perfect for ultimate relaxation, complete with a swim-up bar and breathtaking ocean views.

The stay also includes a 24/7 all-inclusive package at the Sunrise Bar, perfect for enjoying your vacation without a worry, with drinks, snacks, and entertainment available at will!

A stormy farewell!

On the day of our departure, a tropical storm transformed the landscape into something that looked almost apocalyptic and truly captivating. This intense yet brief spectacle quickly gave way to a radiant sun, reminding us that even in August, beautiful weather was abundant throughout our stay. It was a heavenly getaway we will never forget!
