1. Saint-Brieuc
This is one of the little treasures of Brittany. For less than €20, Saint-Brieuc is a seaside town that's easily reachable by Ouigo from Paris. In just about 2.5 hours, you’ll find yourself in the capital of Côtes-d’Armor, and ready to enjoy all its natural wealth.

2. Avignon
Avignon boasts an unparalleled architectural and historical heritage. You can't miss the Pont Saint-Bénézet (you know, the famous “Pont d’Avignon”) that overlooks the Rhône, or the Palais des Papes, now one of the largest palaces in Europe. For a breath of fresh air, head to the garden of the Doms, perched at the top of the Rocher des Doms, offering a stunning 360° view of the city and the surrounding Vaucluse landscapes. If it stretches your budget a bit, Avignon is accessible by TGV from Paris starting at €25.

3. Angoulême
Comic book lovers will absolutely adore this place, especially for its must-visit international comic festival held every January, along with a museum entirely dedicated to it. For just €19, it's super easy to travel to Angoulême from Paris. It's also a great spot to explore its charming historic downtown and picturesque streets that transport you into a bubble out of time.
