Summer is here and all we're dreaming of now is just one thing: vacation. We don’t know about you, but we're picturing ourselves relaxing on a beach with soft, white sand, in front of a turquoise sea where the gentle ebb and flow of the waves rocks us to sleep. While France is full of gems like this, there’s one spot in particular that boasts the most beautiful beach in the Hexagon. You know, the kind that gives you the illusion of being transported to the ends of the earth after just a few hours by train.

A Wonder of the French West
Head over to Brittany to discover one of France's little gems. According to Holidu's ranking, the stunning Plage des Blancs Sablons in Finistère is the most beautiful beach in France. Stretching 2.5 kilometers, it’s the perfect place to stroll or relax without bumping into other visitors. The sand is incredibly fine, the water crystal clear… it’s like stepping into paradise. Even more amazing, the area is part of the Natura 2000 network, ensuring the protection of its wildlife and flora.

To relax, take a walk, or play sports
People come here to take a swim, for a sunbathing session, but also to surf and fish. Thanks to the west winds, the waves are perfect for surfing, bodyboarding, or even kitesurfing. As for fishing, it's regulated, but during low tide, it’s possible to gather mussels or periwinkles. It’s easily accessible by car from the center of Conquet, and there's parking nearby. Even better: the other two beaches that complete the top 3 are also in Brittany: Pen-Hat beach in Camaret-sur-Mer and Grands-Sables beach on Groix Island. Have we convinced you?
