Pack up your packaging.
More and more consumers are becoming aware of the ecological impact of plastic packaging and are opting for a new mode of consumption: bulk shopping, made possible by supermarkets that offer their products without packaging, which reduces environmental pollution.
It has been a while since we had to pay for a bag when shopping (do you remember how many plastic bags were distributed about ten years ago??), and the next step is to put an end to the plastic packaging of products (or at least to the maximum amount possible).
But where should you shop to adopt the bulk method? Here is a small non-exhaustive list:
Negozio Leggero
Opened in June 2018, it is the new addition to the group of 100% bulk grocery stores. Here, we shop lighter, without superficial packaging (so without packaging at all), among more than 1500 products on offer. Here, we don't hold back: flours, cereals, breakfast products, tea, eggs, hygiene products, pasta, legumes, pastries, and even makeup, there is something for everyone. All you need to do is bring your own container, and the deal is done.

Day by day
It is a reference shop. With a real network of stores in France, there are three in Paris (in the 7th, 15th, and 17th districts). The idea, as explained above, is to come with your own container and choose your products without packaging. In total, more than 700 products are offered to you. Clean.
Biocoop
Same goes for Biocoop, a large chain of stores in France where you can serve yourself and leave without packaging. There are also products with packaging, but nothing superfluous. A glass jar, a simple box... No plastic, a banned material.
Toutofu
This one is for tofu fans only. Made from organic soy, you can bring their tofu directly to your home in a container that you have brought. Please note that it is closed on Mondays and Sundays.

Mes courses en vrac
Let's move on to websites. Obviously, it's easier to order products online, especially when you want to avoid packaging. With Mes courses en vrac, you can choose your products and receive them all in a shared package, which you can then return. Amazing.
Vrac'n'roll
Another website, same principle. Cookies, pasta, fruits and vegetables... All your regular products delivered to your doorstep without packaging. It's the future. And they say it's super healthy too.
The Nearby Grocery Store
We end with a physical location again. Located in the 18th district, this shop offers plenty of organic products, and whenever possible, bulk foods. Let me tell you, the amount of unnecessary packaging = 0.

The market
Well yeah, it's simple, but if you have something to transport your food, you can go to the local market in the morning and not use any plastic packaging, whether it's bags or anything else. And besides, the products will be much better.
Abracada-vrac
And here we finish this list with an app that allows you to find bulk products near you. And honestly, it's super convenient. Perhaps the best thing on this list, it combines the usefulness of technology with the joy of discovering something by yourself.
Obviously, there are definitely other places that we haven't mentioned, and we hope that the number of these will continue to increase as the customer base grows. Because honestly, bulk shopping is really the future.
