In the capital, various organizations and institutions are mobilizing specially to do their part and try to advance research while raising awareness among women of all ages about the importance of getting screened. Here's a rundown of the events you won't want to miss to do some good.

Films that have touched us so much that they made us shed rivers of tears — there are dozens we could mention. Theater productions that had the same effect on us... that's much rarer! And yet, here we are, pleasantly surprised: the first production that
we discover this 2026/2027 cultural season that touches our hearts deeply. It makes us laugh just as much as it moves us, it takes us traveling through time just as much as it makes us reflect, it shakes us up just as much as it dazzles us. In short, it checks all the boxes for a real favorite. Besides, we even devoted a whole article to it!Voir cette publication sur Instagram

Let's get screened
Right now, breast cancer is the firsleading cause of cancer deaths among women. It affects on average one woman in 8 and more than 61,000 new cases are detected each year. But it's also a disease that, if caught early, can be cured in 9 out of 10 cases. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is the time to remember the importance of screening: a clinical exam every year starting at age 25, annual screening for women aged 50 to 74 with a mammogram every two years.

Make a donation to an association
For breast cancer to be fought, scientific research needs to move forward. And for that to happen, donations, no matter the amount, are essential. You can notably support Ruban Rose, RoseUp, the League Against Cancer, or Europa Donna France.
