For the Grimmeisen family, it all began in 1870 when they decided to buy a plot of land to open a cooperage factory. Gradually, their research on waterproofing led them to focus on rubber.

Then, it only took a passion for tennis for the Spring Court, an iconic sneaker worn by the likes of John Lennon and Jane Birkin, to come to life in 1936. A timeless and unisex shoe that, as it approaches 90 years, still carries in its essence the DNA of a brand like no other: offering a simple, effective product with undeniable quality.

A Lively Place Where Authenticity Reigns

This spirit of authenticity is what rules supreme at l’Usine Spring Court. Here, in this courtyard where the original old scale still reigns like a queen, you'll find photo studios, yoga classes, a Spring Court shop where loyal customers and newcomers alike will find their joy, as well as the Café de l’Usine, a warm restaurant where you can feel right at home for a coffee (outside if the sun peeks out) or to enjoy the simple yet delightful cuisine of Chef Alice Arnoux, who treats us to wonderful dishes made with quality ingredients.
