Since its creation in 2002, Rêves de Chiens has opted for a foster home system rather than cages. Located in Viry-Châtillon in Essonne, the association does not house any animals on its premises, but acts as an intermediary with the temporary or permanent adopter. Contrary to what its name indicates, RDC also rescues cats, ferrets, and rodents.

Both shelterFor animals and environmental association, the Brigitte Bardot Foundation is Mother Nature's soldier and helps domestic and wild animals. They have dogs and cats available for adoption. Good to know, there are FBB shelters all over France, and you might be able to find your future companion in one of them.

They are not animal shelters.In Paris itself, there are several associations that provide information and list animals available for adoption. Don't hesitate to consider adopting an older animal or one that has been in a shelter for a long time, as they will repay your kindness a hundredfold.
