The Editor

At the helm of this brand new spot : Célia and Laurent, a couple passionate about games but above all about the joy of hosting. Residents of the neighborhood, the two owners have one guiding principle for their establishment : community spirit. Far from the typical crowded game bars that can sometimes feel cramped, here, the trend is all about brightness and space. With around thirty seating places on the upper floor – featuring armchairs and sofas – and soon a terrace for sunny days, Jovial promises thrilling game sessions in a setting where you can finally breathe.

The temple of board games

On the walls, over 300 game references of all kinds await us : card games, strategy games, thinking games, children's games, classics… Whether you're a beginner or an expert, Célia and Laurent are here to welcome you!

I haven't tested everything, but they will guide you. And if a game catches your eye,  it's available at the store on the ground floor !

What truly makes this place special is the attention given to the menu. Here, everything is homemade! As for drinks, the focus is on local and organic : BAPBAP beers, lemonades from the Limonaderie of Paris, and juices from Tarn signed by La Bonne Énergie. The cherry on top? A brunch will soon make its appearance on the Sunday menu. Expect savory, sweet, and of course, games!!

And open table evenings to meet each other!

The other great feature of this place? Open table evenings organized several times a month to invite players to mingle! As for prices, expect to pay 4€ for 2 hours of play (2€ for kids), with a drink required. One drink is enough to enjoy an additional 2 hours. So, shall we start a game?
