The 15th Arrondissement

When it comes to biking, the 15th Arrondissement is definitely not the best place to be. The residents here are all about cars and have a strong dislike for cyclists, making it a challenging area to ride in. For any cyclist who values their safety, it's best to avoid this district. The only upside is that the vélib stations are always well stocked. In a dire situation, they could definitely come in handy.

The 18th Arrondissement

Let's be clear, the North-West of Paris is for athletes. 9 out of the 10 steepest streets in the capital are located there, including 4 in the 18th arrondissement. So, if you want to ride a bike, it's better to steer clear of this area.In this neighborhood, you really need to have some strong lungs. Especially when there are stairs at every turn and you have to get out of your car. And let's not forget the Velib stations that are (too) often empty, the cobblestone streets in every direction, and the lack of bike lanes. Put all these elements together and, clearly, it's not a dream scenario. If, on paper, the 10th arrondissement is not the worst for cycling, it definitely deserves its place in this ranking for three reasons. 1) The Jaurès-Stalingrad intersection. At the border with the 19th arrondissement, this intersection is a real challenge. It's dark, bike lanes cross. There are certain areas in Paris that can be a bit challenging for cyclists. From the Bermuda Triangle of bike lanes to the cobbled streets in the 8th arrondissement, navigating through the city can sometimes feel like a nightmare. But hey, let's not forget to keep a smile on our faces, right? And then there's the 13th arrondissement - a fun mix of hills, cobblestones, and drivers who may not always be cyclist-friendly. But despite the challenges, we continue to pedal on with joy and excitement. Just remember, it's all part of the adventure of biking in the city. So let's embrace the ups and downs, and keep on riding with a positive attitude! 🚲💨🙂 And if all else fails, we can always take a cue from this adorable cycling gif! 🚲🌟🎉 #StayPositive #KeepPedaling #ParisCyclingAdventureRiding Vélib bikes can be a bit of a challenge. But hey, it's all in good fun, right? Well, sometimes it can get a bit overwhelming. So, let's ask ourselves... Who hasn't worked up a sweat on Boulevard Vincent Auriol, had a close call at Place d'Italie, or been frustrated by the construction at the Jardin des Plantes?
