World Cup: 5 quirky places to catch France's first match in Paris!

It's here, the kick-off for the 2026 World Cup took place on Thursday, June 11, and the Blues are gearing up to play their first match this Tuesday, June 16, against Senegal. There's only one mission now: to find the perfect spot to cheer on Deschamps' players. While the capital is filled with "classic" fan zones, scattered in various spaces, open-air venues, bars, and houseboats, we're excited to share a list of places that are a bit different for enjoying the match in the best way possible.


LEGO Fan Zone at La Villette

The colorful building brick brand is setting up on the banks of the Ourcq Canal to let you experience football like never before. On the agenda, there are over 1800 m² of fun: three activities featuring LEGO — a workshop to take home your creation, a participatory mural, and a free creation area — plus two football experiences — a precision shooting game and 5-a-side matches. And let's not forget the live match broadcast!

Le Grand Rex

What could be better, to experience this event that promises to be historic (let's not forget that Senegal – maybe we don’t remember – won the CAN back in January), than to settle down comfortably in the largest cinema hall in Europe? It's going to be an exciting event with a live speaker to get the crowd going and kick off some chants, all sorts of fun activities, live commentary, and a sound system that will take your breath away, so you can experience the match like never before. In short: your couch, but way (way) better.

For the World Cup, the Ephemera group, known for its immersive restaurants of all kinds, is transforming three of its locations into fan zones unique, starting this Tuesday. In Paris, head to Stellar, a venue that usually takes you into the stars, for a direct journey to the United States, and more specifically the Boston stadium's field. At the menu...dinner between 7 PM and 9 PM (with those drinks specially imagined for the occasion), before enjoying the match in panoramic view.
