The Best Guinguettes in Paris

Originally, the term "guinguette" comes from the word "guinguet", which refers to a light wine from the vineyards of the guinguet estate on the slopes of Belleville: this is where the first guinguettes were born at the end of the 17th century! Initially located on the outskirts of Paris, guinguettes were not subject to the wine tax, which allowed them to offer very affordable prices.

True places of life and friendliness, guinguettes are open-air venues where people love to spend time, enjoy simple meals, refresh themselves, and even dance during our summer evenings! To soak up the sun or savor sweet evenings with friends, head to our 10 favorite guinguettes.

The Complete Guide: The Quays of Annette K

Annette K, it's the coolest boat in the 15th.

We'll meet at the guinguette starting at 6 PM, from Tuesday to Saturday night, before wrapping up the evening on the boat from midnight to 2 AM. On the menu: sharing platters, salads, hummus, and tasty pizzas. As for drinks, there are cocktails galore, fresh juices, or the classic beers and wines. In short, from morning to night, this is undoubtedly our new favorite spot in the 15th.
