For the chilly ones
Shakespeare and Company: Shakespeare and Co is a charming English bookstore located in the 5th arrondissement. If books had a scent, it would be the one of Shakespeare and Co, a true paradise for all bookworms out there. This place is filled with nooks and crannies (including one with cushions!), perfect for a stolen kiss in privacy. The cherry on top: there's a piano available if you want to serenade your sweetheart with a beautiful melody. Guaranteed success!

For the daredevils
The hidden gem of Buttes-Chaumont: Calling all adventurers among you, there is a little piece of paradise for lovebirds in search of some tranquility. To do this, you will have to do a little climbing. But don't worry, nothing too difficult, as long as you're not wearing 20cm high heels, everything will be fine. You just have to head towards the kiosk and, where there is the red dot in the photo below, you will have to step over a barrier, walk a little bit, and voila! You will have a magnificent view of Paris without a soul around (warning: it's better to go there with your loved one and not with a guy you met in a bar, friendly advice).

For nature lovers
Medici Fountain in Luxembourg Gardens: You thought you knew Luxembourg Gardens like the back of your hand: the tennis court, the central fountain and its little wooden boats, the pétanque court... But did you know about the Medici Fountain, located at the western end, one of the most beautiful features of the garden? Nicknamed the "grotto of Luxembourg", the place is calm and green, perfect for a proper smooching session.

For those who want to escape while staying in Paris
L'Île aux Cygnes: Still relatively unknown to Parisians and tourists, the Île aux Cygnes is the perfect place for a romantic stroll, quiet and dotted with benches. Accessible via the Grenelle bridge or the Bir Hakeim bridge, it obviously provides an idyllic setting for a passionate embrace, with the (fake) Statue of Liberty keeping watch. Avoid summer evenings when groups of intoxicated young people may ruin the romantic atmosphere.

For the conformists
Quai de la Tournelle : With Notre Dame and the Island of Saint-Louis on the other side of the bank, the Quai de la Tournelle is undoubtedly one of the places, admittedly cliché, but one of the most pleasant to have a big smooch. And with moonlight in the background, you'll be ready for a perfect romantic comedy scene!

For those who would have wanted to live in another era
Under the arcades of the Louvre : All the charm of the Belle Époque can be found in this place. We can imagine carriages coming out of the Tuileries Gardens and see the smiles of tourists, charmed by the location. The dim lighting promotes passionate kisses without appearing as exhibitionists. And if you feel a little cold, you can always go and taste the famous hot chocolate from Angelina, just a stone's throw away.

The forecourt of the Opéra Garnier: If you want to show your love to the whole world (yes, all Parisians know that the world is limited to Paris), the forecourt of the Opéra Garnier will be your little piece of paradise. We comfortably settle on the steps of this Parisian institution and savor the present moment. A little kiss and off we go!
