1. Barbès Market
At the top of this list, we find Barbès Market, located under the overhead metro, with an average basket cost of 10 euros. Guaranteed change of scenery, with a colorful crowd bustling, shouting, and haggling for the best prices starting early in the morning. The experience can be exhausting if you have the brilliant idea to go on a hot day, but you'll quickly understand, as you leave with your cart filled for around ten euros, that it's worth it!

2. The Ornano market
Located on Ornano Boulevard, this low-priced market is the other great option in the 18th. 3. The Market at Place des Fêtes
So we know, this neighborhood is not the most accessible if you're not from the area, but if you're in the neighborhood, it's worth a visit! Unbeknownst to tourists, you'll find plenty of good deals by rummaging through the stalls of this lovely market, nestled at the top of Paris, directly on Place des Fêtes.

4. The Aligre market
Well known for its village atmosphere, and highly appreciated by tourists who flock there in large numbers during the warmer months, this market located on the circular Aligre square consists of an outdoor market and a covered market. For budget shoppers, we advise you to stick to the outdoor stalls, and especially to go there in the late morning, when the bargains abound!

5. Berthier Market
This market in the 17th arrondissement has a well-kept secret: every Wednesday and Saturday at 1:30 pm or 2 pm, certain products are sold there for 1 euro per kilo! To find them, head to the stands near the Porte d'Asnières, especially the last stand at the back right of the market. You'll find plenty of products for 1 euro per kilo, and even 1 euro per crate...
