The weather is ABSO-LUTE-LY amazing! Now we all want to spend our day purring in the sun, armed with our Ray-Bans, a good book, a nice bottle, and a group of friends or a date. But you see, we're not the only ones who had that idea. Here's a little guide to make the most of Paris' green spaces, oh Paris, without going crazy or feeling claustrophobic.
Parc Monceau - 8th arrondissement

Due to its location, this one has a little bit of the Neuilly-16th vibe. It's close to the office area and Paris 4 University. It's teeming with students and suits.
The Luxembourg - 6th

If you're not used to it, be careful, you're going to get caught. It's simple, there, the majority of lawns are off-limits to the public. With small obstacles and watchful eyes. So it's difficult to cheat. However, if you're lucky enough to find one, lounging on a chair by the pool is pleasant. The best spot: near the small fountain on the Boulevard St Michel side, for some peace and quiet.
Les Buttes Chaumont - 19th arrondissement

What a success! The Canal picnic has everyone talking about the afternoon at Buttes Chaumont among the trendy Parisians from the east. But be careful with the overrated Rosa Bonheur: it's been overused these past two years. It's only nice if you go VERY early, otherwise it's a hassle.
Les Tuileries - 1st

Obviously, this place attracts tourists. Ahh, Paris. So, we don't really recommend it. Yes, all the parks are crowded, but here it lacks freshness, let's stroll hand in hand barefoot and pee in nature. Raph's Good Advice: the Carrousel gardens (allowed lawns, but sometimes a few condoms lying around...)
Les Invalides - 7th arrondissement

The view is really cool and makes you happy to live in Paris (the chauvinistic minute). We sit on the lawns and watch everyone go by, and if we want to take a walk, we go for a cultural tour. And all along Avenue de Breteuil.
Parc Montsouris - 14th arrondissement

The great deal. The fans of the right bank will be upset, but this park is really worth it, very big, very beautiful, filled with plants, and not on everyone's mind. So, find yourself a motorized friend, put on your helmet and off you go.
Georges Brassens Park - 15th

Just for its name, and because this former vineyard pays tribute to the artist who lived right next door.
The Montmartre Vineyard - 18th arrondissement

Oops! We're letting you in on a secret that shouldn't be shared too much... In the heart of the 18th district, sometimes these little vineyards get forgotten. Settle in next to one with a good beer and you're guaranteed a great evening.

The island of La Jatte, for a walk along the Seine, the Bois de Boulogne obviously (no, we won't make any dirty jokes), the island of Saint Denis (in a completely different spirit), etc! Who said that Paris lacks greenery?
